Life for me is pretty hectic right now. I spent about two months getting ready for TUF and we were fighting upon arrival at the UFC Training Facility. For the next 8 weeks I was to be sequestered with my opponents and fighting more in 8 weeks then I had fought in my entire career. If that was not enough to deal with I was fighting for a chance to win a contract with the biggest and most prestigious fighting organization in the World.

When the show wrapped I was a free man and was looking forward to a much-needed break from training and fighting.   I love the sport but 4 fights in 8 weeks is a lot and gave me a whole new level of respect for the early UFC and Pride fighters that fought tournament style.   I headed to Cold Stone Creamery and loaded up on Ice Cream and catch up on time away from friends and loved ones.   That was until I got the call.

Dana White wanted me to come back to Vegas for a meeting.   This meeting would lead to a second chance and two more fights.   I would fight Tim Creduer and then go onto the Finals and fight Amir Saddollah once again.   I put down the ice cream and once again I was back in the gym training like a mad man.

After the finale and another disappointing outcome with Amir I could once again look forward to a relaxing and much needed break from fighting.   That is until I got the call from Joe Silva, Matchmaker for the UFC.   Long story short they wanted me to fight again on July 19th against Jesse Taylor.

While this is more fighting then anyone had envisioned, especially for the runner-up it was not an opportunity I was going to let pass me by.   This call is what I made the 8-week sacrifice for; it is what goal was, to fight in the UFC.   This will be my UFC debut outside of TUF.   I will be walking into the octagon as a UFC fighter and I will begin my climb to become the very best fighter I can become in the very best organization there is the UFC.

For those of you that do not know, let me tell you about me. My name is Clarence Dollaway, but my friends and fans call me C.B. or "The Doberman." If you're here you can call me C.B., as all visitors to my site are family. I was born in Michigan, grew up in the Midwest, and graduated high school from Northmor High in Ohio. There, I was a wrestling state champion and went on to wrestle for Colby Junior College, where I received my Associates degree. While at Colby, I won the JUCO National Championships. I was offered a scholarship to Arizona State University where I earned my All-American status in 2006 and earned my bachelors degree. Yes, as crazy as it sounds I have a four-year degree, and I selected to get punched for a living.

For me, MMA is my NBA, my NFL. All the years and sacrifice I made as an amateur wrestler are not a memory; I use the experience every day in my day job of being an Ultimate Fighter. I have wrestled since I was 5 years old, and MMA is the big leagues for us amateur wrestlers.

I train full time out of Arizona Combat Sports with trainers Todd and Trevor Lally. My team is made up of the WEC World Champion Jamie Varner, WEC fighter Jesse Moreng, K1 and MMA rising WEC star Steve Steinbeiss, TUF 3 Veteran Jesse Forbes, IFL Veteran Ray Steinbeiss, up-and-coming star and former ASU teammate Ryan "Darth" Bader, and so many more young and talented fighters. My sponsors, teammates, trainers, and management have all helped me achieve my dream of fighting for The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and for that I am grateful.
